A SERIES OF TALKS IN 2010

As an initiative to provide some additional activities for members, a series of four Sunday afternoon discussions is being planned as part of our calendar of events for our 75th Anniversary season in 2010. These discussions will take place at various venues in Melbourne and will include a talk on some aspect of Gilbert and Sullivan and the world of light opera.

The second talk for the year will be by Martin Wright, who will take participants on a journey through his recent edition of Sullivan's cantata On Shore and Sea along with some musical examples. Numbers will be limited and prospective participants will need to register for this talk. Registration is free. You can also pay online in advance here if you wish. Please do so here.  On payment or registration, an organiser will be in touch with you to finalise the venue.
